Almost three quarter pass...
Why I still feel I was so dumb in that small discussion group
too much want to say, but too less I can express explicitly
I do love this immigration topic,
I do love all the reading I read,
I do love this seminar
But...why I keep feeling stressful when I go to class every time
I can't believe I shuddered when I was sharing my findings from the book
I have no idea why I was so lack of confidence

Probably, they are such experienced teachers,
They always can have good critiques, and logical thinking
They are educated to think out of the frame

I was imaging if the situation reversed
They sit in a graduate level class,
and use their second language to discuss, or give comments
Would they still be so confident?

I keep telling myself,
Limited English proficiency doesn't mean you can not be very sophisticated
you do have your own academic cognition,
YOU CAN DO IT! Never forget your original DREAM

I read it from a class reading
English Language Learners(ELLs) need almost 2 to 3 years to talk like
their native-born peers
and it takes ELLs 6 to 7 years to completely get involved in
the academic content

I have been here for only nine months...
